Cryptolepis dubia (Burm.f.) M.R. Almeida, an herbal medicinal plant to a member in the Asclepiadaceae family, has been used in Thai traditional medicine as the treatment of muscle and tendon pains by decoction. Studies reported that C. dubia showed several pharmacological activities, such as, analgesic activity, analgesic activity, anti-inflammatory activity, hepatoprotective activity, anti-bacterial activity. Studies also found that leaves of C. dubia help regulate heartbeat and normalize circulation.
Cryptolepis dubia is a flowering plant in the Apocynaceae family that grows in South and Southeast Asia, as well as in China’s southern area.
