Irwin & Barneby, commonly known as Cassod Tree, Thai Copper Pod, or Khi Lek in Thai, is a medium to large deciduous tree in the family Fabaceae, native to Southeast Asia and South Asia, with widespread cultivation across tropical regions of Asia and Africa. It is one of the most important and commonly planted trees in Thailand, valued for its fast growth, attractive yellow flowers, and multiple functional uses including timber, shade, agroforestry, and traditional medicine.
